The successful candidate will demonstrate proven fundraising successes, strong capabilities in international policy and advocacy, experience working with Capitol Hill, networking, coalition-building, public speaking, and media relations.

With the mission to serve as a voice for the world’s most vulnerable children, GAC mobilizes government support and community action so every child has the chance to grow up safe, healthy and ready to thrive, particularly, encouraging Congress and the Administration to invest in children so we can achieve the biggest results for the littlest members of our global family. In addition to our holistic advocacy work for the health, education and protection of every child, GAC is currently focusing its energy on two primary campaigns: vaccines and early childhood development.
GAC’s incoming executive director will have the opportunity to serve at the forefront of efforts that dramatically impact the lives of the vulnerable children throughout the world. GAC’s next leader will leave a lasting legacy through advocacy efforts within the US, capturing future opportunities to expand GAC’s advocacy in other donor countries, and continuing to build an organization that puts the needs of the world’s vulnerable children front and center – in the US Congress, the Administration and the public.
