April 14, 2010: BABIES is a visually stunning and joyful film that simultaneously chronicles the lives of four babies in Mongolia, Namibia, San Francisco, and Tokyo, from first breath to first steps. The film arrives to theaters this Mother's Day weekend, but GAC is having an early screening with a chance to hear about what we are doing for babies worldwide.  

March 28, 2010: In a thrust to provide sustained support to life-saving innovations in India and around the world, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is placing new emphasis on innovations that effect social and cultural change to bring down the unacceptably high death rates for children under five years of age in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

March 25, 2010: Last weekend GAC journeyed to the first annual Planet Awesome event in NYC, hosted for us by our friends at Planet Awesome Kid. There were painters, break dancers, plant mazes, celebrities and lots of cool kids who showed up to support other kids around the world.
