Prioritizing low-cost, simple health measures would save 2.5 million child lives a year

November 16, 2009: Almost a third of the children under age five who die each year could be saved if governments rebalance health spending to ensure low-cost, simple interventions such as safe water and hygiene, bed nets and basic maternal and newborn care, leading aid agency World Vision said today. AllAfrica: Rwanda: Vocational Graduates Receive Sewing Machines

November 7, 2009: Kigali - RWAMAGANA- Africare has donated sewing machines and other work kits to scores of students who completed training in different vocational skills.

The beneficiaries, mainly orphans and vulnerable children were drawn from three different vocational schools in Rubona sector in Rwamagana district.
